The Impulse is a competition level board. The Impulse is tuned for lady riders over 5’5″ and up to 150 lbs. We increased the thickness to 3/4” inches thick. This extra 1/8th of an inch allows for an easier release off the top of the lip and helps float and recovery when riding on the back of the wave. A consistent outline creates a smooth transition while driving up the face of the wave as well as allows for increased surface area on a shorter board. Check out taylor_dorey on Instagram.
